Terms and Conditions/Privacy Policy

These apply to the provision of services as detailed in our quotation and by Lincs Property services 3rd Floor, 86-89 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. You are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions when you accept our quotation or from the date services commence.

Our advice, quotations and recommended products are based on information provided by the customer.

We use reasonable care and skill in the services we render. Our fire safety features are assessed, installed and maintained by accredited and competent engineers. We comply with the law and safety requirements deemed necessary.

We endeavour to complete all works within a timely manner and as agreed in the quotation. We carry out extensive inspections prior to any work commencing to identify any potential issues. Sometimes defects are not visible at initial point of inspection and we cannot be held liable for any subsequent remedial work required on these pre existing defects.

Fees set out in quotation are based on time and materials required at time of inspection. If unexpected work arises due to unforeseen defects then these will be charged separately and may not be able to be carried out at the initial visit.

In order for us to provide certification for the fire safety features provided all products must meet the minimum requirements. Without all necessary components then the feature cannot be fully certified and signed off. In these case’s then partial documentation and certification will be issued and missing components will be noted. Any certification or reports will be given on receipt of payment.

Removal of old fire doors/frames/ fire dampers or faulty electrical items are not included with the initial installation costs. Removal and disposal can be quoted separately.

We require good lighting and access to electricity and toilet facilities to enable us to work effectively.

Warranties

Whilst every attempt is made to eliminate any shrinkage or expansion of our fire doors and frames. We cannot be held liable for any movement within the products as they are made from natural products and environmental issues which affect them which are beyond our control.

When products are delivered to site please inspect upon delivery. If any damage is seen on outer packaging then these must be noted on the delivery note and on the copy for the carrier. Damaged products can be refused without being signed for. Once signed for any transport or damage is the customers responsibility. Failure to note damage may affect replacement or refund.

Cancellation

We understand cancellations happen. Please just let us know a minimum of 48 hours in advance of an appointment and we will re arrange with no additional costs. However if no notice is given and our engineers arrive on site and works cannot be completed a £100 call out fee will be applied.

If an order for fire doors or fire dampers is cancelled you must inform us straight away. Once production has started we are unable to provide a refund.

 

Payments

An invoice will be sent for payment on completion of the work or on the invoice dates set out in the quotation. You must pay fees within 15 days of receiving the invoice. If you do not pay we will charge you interest at the rate of 5% per annum above the base lending rate of the Bank of England every quarter until payment is made in full.

 

Complaints

We are highly professional and always aim to do everything right the first time. If errors occur we will do our best to rectify problems as soon as possible. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

 

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect will only be used in accordance with the Data and Protection Act (2018) and the PECR.

We do not store any payment data on our servers

We do not share data with any third parties
